The BPOS Video Surveillance module provides a number of video monitoring solutions that can help business owners to protect their businesses, reduce inventory shrinkage and protect against employee theft. Integrating a video surveillance system with the BPOS point-of-sale system will save you money because there will be a seamless integration of VSS and POS into a single operating unit an there will be better surveillance of the activities in your establishment. The BTS MSGV video surveillance system can be integrated with BPOS and includes the following capabilities:

Audio

One-way or two-way audio may be provided with each camera. Audio can be used for both loss prevention and customer service purposes. By combining audio with your cameras they can act as a form of "secret shopper" by recording not only the actions of your employees but also the conversations they have with customers.

BPOS text overlay

When preset transactions occur a text overlay will appear in the video providing a summary of the transaction that just occurred. When an order is placed, that order will appear in the video of the camera dedicated to that POS terminal. Cameras can be automatically activated when a transaction starts.

Control center for multiple locations

The BTS MSGV has the capability to add control center software in order to administer video surveillance systems located at multiple locations. The control center software has the same capabilities as the local DVR.

Instant notification of preset alerts

When an alert is activated instant notification may be sent to designated parties via email, text or video. This instant notification allows for the business owner to know what is going on at his/her property at all times, and also allows for prompt response to any security threats. Owners can customize how they would like to receive these alerts for optimal communication and fast response time.

Preset alerts

The system may be programmed to provide alerts for preset activities such as no-sale transactions, the cash drawer opening, movement in the inventory room, the opening of certain doors and a wide variety of other activities. BTS can work with the business owner to identify which activities would require a preset alert.

Real time recording & display

Video can be monitored and recorded in real time from the local office, a control center or via webcam including many PDA's and mobile phones.
