BTS maintains a development staff located in the Los Angeles that is specifically dedicated to the on-going development of BPOS, BTS’s proprietary point of sale software. BTS is dedicated to developing the most advanced and complete point of sale software in the world and places great value upon our partner/reseller and customer relationships.
BTS’s corporate headquarters is located in Los Angeles, CA with regional offices located in Atlanta and Las Vegas. BTS maintains a partner/reseller network throughout North American to provide products and services to clients on a local basis.
Code of Ethics
Brownstone Technology, Inc. and its subsidiaries code of ethics embody the commitment to conduct our business in a professional and ethical way in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. All Board of Directors, officers, employees and subcontractors are expected to adhere to these principles and procedures set forth in this code when applicable to them.
Commitment to Clients - BTSs’ primary responsibility is to provide their clients with professional and competent services. BTS understands that many of our products and services are critical to the success of the client and therefore every effort should be made to contribute to the success of the client. Generally, our client interests are primary except in the case of a client involved in illegal or unethical behavior.
Competence - Directors, officers, employees and subcontractors associated with BTS should provide services and represent themselves in a professional and competent manner within the boundaries of their education, training, licensing, certifications and relevant experience. Personnel associated with BTS should never attempt to provide services for which they are not qualified without qualified supervision.
Compliance - Directors, officers, employees and sub-contractors of BTS shall comply with all governmental laws, rules and regulations in all of their activities. All directors, officers, employees and sub-contractors of BTS will avoid any activity that could lead to the involvement of BTS, if officers, employees or sub-contractors in any type of unlawful activity.
Conflicts of Interest - Directors, officers, employees and sub-contractors of BTS will avoid any conflict of interest that may result in personal influences or relationships that would affect their ability to act in the best interest of BTS and their clients.
Confidentiality of Information - Directors, officers, employees and subcontractors will protect BTS and its client’s information as well as that of suppliers, vendors and BTS personnel. BTS considers all of its information and the information of its clients to be proprietary and confidential. As such, all information is considered critical to the operations of BTS and its clients and therefore release of any such information is prohibited.
Corporate Opportunities - Directors, officers, employees and subcontractors of BTS owe a duty to BTS to advance its legitimate business interests when the opportunity arises. As such, directors, officers, employees and subcontractors are prohibited from taking for themselves or a related third party a business opportunity that is discovered through their relationship with BTS or through the use of BTS property.

Illegal or Unethical Behavior-Reporting of - Directors, officers, employees and subcontractors are required to report any suspected or actual illegal or unethical activity related to business immediately. Such activity should be reported to the corporate office without delay.
Intellectual Property - BTS and its directors, officers, employees and subcontractors understand the importance and privilege associated with intellectual property and take appropriate action to protect intellectual property owned by BTS and its clients.
Proper Use of, and Protection of, Company Property - all directors, officers, employees and subcontractors will take proper precautions to protect BTS assets and ensure legitimate, proper and efficient use of such assets.
